Elements have properties called attributes. You do not usually need to edit these attributes. However, there may be situations when editing element attributes is necessary.
To edit element attributes:
Select the element.
Click Edit > Attributes.
Tip: You can double-click an element's tag instead of selecting Edit > Attributes.
The Edit Attributes window opens.
To set an attribute value, double-click in the attribute's value field, enter a value, and press Enter.
