9.6.                   Selecting references

To select references:

•               Click the reference text.

•               In XML view, click the reference's element tag (topicref or mapref).

•               In XML view, click the reference's element tag and drag up or down to select sibling references/elements.

•               In the element breadcrumbs, click the reference's element name (topicref or mapref).

•               In the element breadcrumbs, click the reference's element name (topicref or mapref) and hold down the mouse button to display a list of child references/elements, move the cursor over a child refer­ence/element name, and release the mouse button.

•               Click the reference text, right-click, and click Select > and then a refer­ence name. The references listed in the menu are the current reference, its parent, its parent's parent, and so on. As you move the mouse pointer over the reference names in the menu, the references are high­lighted in light blue within the map.
